General Information
The InTouch Import Utility provides a quick, easy way to convert your structured and fixed-field databases to InTouch's simple free-form format. The instructions for the InTouch Import Utility is located on the program disk in Microsoft Word 5.0 format. You can view it on-screen or print it out.
If you are not a Microsoft Word user, you can use the "Open" command on the "File" menu of most word processors to select and open the Import Utility manual.

CAUTION!
In order for the InTouch Import Utility to perform efficiently for you, your data must be entered in a consistent format in your original database. The InTouch Import Utility assumes that the same type of information appears in the same fields in every record. For example, if your database contains a phone number field, the phone number should appear in that field, not as an extra line in the address field. If it appears as an extra line in the address field, it will probably appear in the Address field of InTouch, rather than in the Notes field.
